Kumpulan data DeepWeeds terdiri dari 17.509 gambar yang menangkap delapan spesies gulma berbeda yang berasal dari Australia in situ dengan flora tetangga. Spesies gulma yang dipilih berasal dari padang rumput pastoral di seluruh negara bagian Queensland. Gambar dikumpulkan dari infestasi gulma di lokasi berikut di seluruh Queensland: "Black River", "Charters Towers", "Cluden", "Douglas", "Hervey Range", "Kelso", "McKinlay" dan "Paluma".
