channels attr تعداد کانال‌های رنگی مورد نظر برای تصویر رمزگشایی شده را نشان می‌دهند.

مقادیر پذیرفته شده عبارتند از:

• ۰: از تعداد کانال‌های موجود در تصویر کدگذاری شده با فرمت BMP استفاده می‌کند.
• ۳: خروجی یک تصویر RGB.
• ۴: خروجی یک تصویر RGBA.
