Assign

public final class Assign

Update 'ref' by assigning 'value' to it.

This operation outputs "ref" after the assignment is done. This makes it easier to chain operations that need to use the reset value.

Nested Classes

class Assign.Options Optional attributes for Assign

Constants

String OP_NAME The name of this op, as known by TensorFlow core engine

Public Methods

Output<T>
asOutput()
Returns the symbolic handle of the tensor.

create(Scope scope, Operand<T> ref, Operand<T> value, Options... options)
Factory method to create a class wrapping a new Assign operation.

Inherited Methods

Constants

public static final String OP_NAME

The name of this op, as known by TensorFlow core engine

Constant Value: "Assign"

Public Methods

public Output<T> asOutput ()

Returns the symbolic handle of the tensor.

Inputs to TensorFlow operations are outputs of another TensorFlow operation. This method is used to obtain a symbolic handle that represents the computation of the input.

public static Assign<T> create (Scope scope, Operand<T> ref, Operand<T> value, Options... options)

Factory method to create a class wrapping a new Assign operation.

Parameters
scope current scope
ref Should be from a `Variable` node. May be uninitialized.
value The value to be assigned to the variable.
options carries optional attributes values
Returns
  • a new instance of Assign

public Output<T> outputRef ()

= Same as "ref". Returned as a convenience for operations that want to use the new value after the variable has been reset.

public static Assign.Options useLocking (Boolean useLocking)

Parameters
useLocking If True, the assignment will be protected by a lock; otherwise the behavior is undefined, but may exhibit less contention.

public static Assign.Options validateShape (Boolean validateShape)

Parameters
validateShape If true, the operation will validate that the shape of 'value' matches the shape of the Tensor being assigned to. If false, 'ref' will take on the shape of 'value'.
